Sofia Piskopaki is a graduate of Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh since 2014 and a registered member of HCPC (Health Care Professional Council) as well as the Panhellenic Association of Physiotherapists.
In 2017 she completed her Masters Degree in “Orthopaedic Science and Rehabilitation" with a focus on Manual Therapy, at the University of University of Nicosia.
In her search for new physiotherapy techniques she ended up completing the She completed her studies towards a diploma in sports rehabilitation through Clinical Pilates and then a series of seminars in Sports Physio at the HOMTD in Attica.
Her postgraduate degree in orthopaedic rehabilitation made her want to to develop more knowledge about Acupuncture and so in 2019 She completed her studies with the title "Acupuncture for Health Professionals" at the PADA (University of West Attica).
Later, with the title of acupuncture specialist, she became a clinical instructor. From 2021 – 2024 she was Programme leader of the Physiotherapy Department of the Metropolitan College of Heraklion.
Finally, since December 2022 she has been a holder of the title of OMT (Orthopaedic Manipulative/Musculoskeletal Therapy), from the internationally certified educational organization Hellenic OMT Diploma (IFOMPT approved).
Her clinical experience started in 2015 alongside well-known Physiotherapists of Athens who helped her to take an active role in the field of Physiotherapy as well as in training seminars.
In 2022 she decided to start as a freelancer in Heraklion, Crete in an area of 330 sqm in Agios Ioannis.
The clinic provides 4 treatment rooms and 2 gyms (therapeutic exercise and clinical pilates).
In the same space she organize certified seminars in collaboration with the Hellenic OMTDiploma (IFOMPT approved)
